As I try to get all of my many recipe's gathered, purged and organized, I have been making lots of new things. Some of the recipe's you will see here have come from specific places. The origins of others remain a mystery. When I can identify a source, I'll indicate it so you can find more sources of great food.
I looked on line yesterday for a beef stroganoff recipe that wasn't a crockpot recipe, (I was using round steak and a day in the crockpot would turn it to mush) and didn't use a blasted can of cream of something soup. After I weeded those out I noticed that just about everyone had posted the same recipe that called for 3 Tablespoons of chili sauce. I my opinion, chili sauce is just expensive ketchup. I am a creature of habit, so that my preference at any new Italian Restaurant is Pasta Con Broccoli. If they can't make a good version of my favorite
dish, then why bother coming back, right? I have tried many versions, some very complicated, some using canned Cream of Mushroom soup (not a very good
choice) None of them matched or even came close to the version I used to get at Del Pietro's here in town. Read

I found this recipe many many years ago in the St. Louis Daily paper. I am not sure just how light weight it actually is but sice it uses cottage
cheese instead of ricotta, and no eggs, it is probably better than most.
